The Association seeks to unite all producers, entrepreneurs and companies that operate in some branch of the horticultural sectors, such as vegetable growing, ornamental plant growing, flower arranging, fruit growing, viticulture and wine growing, landscape architecture and rural and regional development. The membership strives for the high-quality design and maintenance of the built human environment (e.g. by organizing tree planting campaigns), to eliminate the harms of civilization as much as possible, to deal with environmental protection, to emphasize and popularize them.

Any natural and legal person who accepts the goals and statutes of the association, is active in some branch of horticulture, as well as anyone who is interested in horticulture can become a member of the Gardeners Association. The Association has members from more than 45 settlements in Vojvodina so far.

The meetings of the members of the Association provide a good opportunity for the joint use of professional knowledge; for exchange of experiences, further training, presentation and learning about the latest technologies.

From the very beginning, the Senta Gardeners’ Association has had a specific task to enable the operation of the Cross-Border Correspondence Branch of the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences in Vojvodina. With its European perspective and extensive professional and integration activities, the Senta Gardeners’ Association wants to contribute to the modernization of Vojvodina’s agriculture.
